About the Event
Join me for a 60-minute Yoga Nidra session from wherever you may be. Yoga Nidra is known as the "Yogic Sleep." The student's body goes into a hypogogic state, which is between alpha and theta waves. In other words, the body seems to lie in a sleeping state, while the mind is still lucid with awareness. One hour of yoga nidra practice is equivalent to the restorative effect that you receive from four hours of sleep. We will move through the awareness of each body part as we refresh the mind and the body.
All proceeds will go to Reclaim the Block, in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. This is pay-what-you-can (if you cannot afford to pay anything, please do not let that deter you as all are welcome), and you can donate using these different payment options.
