ReAwaken 2024: an Embodied Reiki Retreat

Do you feel a calling to dive deeper into your journey — to remember and reawaken your own self-healing abilities, encourage and assist others on their path of growth, and ignite the alive and intuitive creativity of your body through movement, awareness, and connection?

We cordially invite you to gather with us for ReAwaken: An Embodied Reiki Retreat. This experience will take place from October 17-20, 2024 at Anahata Educational Community and Retreat Center in the heart of tranquil Floyd, VA. You will leave with an Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Level 1 & 2 certification to practice this ancient Japanese healing modality on yourself and others, trauma-informed somatic and embodiment practices, an in-depth exploration of finding balance, knowledge on how to tap into your own psychic and intuitive abilities, and a deeper connection to all that is.

We believe that in order to truly begin to flourish, we must integrate the mind, body, and spirit. Therefore, we have carefully curated a Reiki training and retreat experience that encompasses transformational activities that are designed to help you connect with yourself and others on a physical, somatic, spiritual, and energetic level.

Meet Your Facilitators

Ari

Ari’s background in psychology and clinical mental health counseling education, Core Energetics, yoga, Holy Fire/Usui III Karuna Reiki, breathwork, energy work, and meditation training provides for an integrative approach to holistic healing. She ultimately wishes to explore the world of somatic therapy, shadow work, psychedelic research, and plant medicine facilitation in treating substance use, depression, anxiety, and PTSD/general trauma. She believes that by forming a relationship with the body and utilizing movement to express emotion and memories that have lodged themselves inside the body, one can return to a state of embodied liberation, begin to remember how to access pleasure, awaken to their own psychic and intuitive gifts, and reignite their own inner flame. Her goal is to combine yoga, somatic/body psychotherapy, intuitive mediumship, breathwork, Tantric Ayurveda, Shamanic practices, transpersonal psychology, psychedelic psychotherapy, Reiki, and mindfulness-based techniques to cultivate a holistic approach to therapeutic healing on the spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental levels of being.

From a very young age, Ari has had a strong ambition in assisting others in recognizing and owning their own power to self-heal. Her vision is to help awaken you to the abundant resources that are already available to you within yourself, as well as around you. She is honored to accompany you on your journey while you manifest your own healing and strength, and channel peace and relaxation more fully.

Without recognizing, embodying, and loving our shadow, we cannot embrace the light, as light cannot exist without its contrast. Ari believes that we have the power to embody our unique blueprint by shedding light on the patterns of the subconscious mind to work towards a state of wholeness.

Emme

Emme facilitates healing through the modalities of energy medicine, spirit communication, sound frequencies, and divination, using her intuition to guide her as she holds sacred space for deep soul remembrances and divine transformation.

Emme is an Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Master Teacher, Intuitive Medium, and Sound Healer, with additional training in Egyptian Reiki, Shamanic Energy Medicine, Spiritual Coaching, Western Astrology, and Consciousness. She is passionate about learning and sharing mysticism and metaphysics, applying it to the journeying, healing, and integration processes of this multidimensional human experience. Emme's intention of self-healing inspired her journey into the path of helping others to heal. This healing and awakening process involved honing in on her intuitive abilities and remembering the divine essence and innate wisdom within her. This led to experiences of astral projecting where she was exposed to dimensions and celestial beings that were beyond her regular perception. This soul attunement shifted how she perceives reality and is fully present for herself, others, and the world around her. This newfound remembrance, and heightened intuition has inspired her to co-create deeply transformative experiences. Emme feels so honored, blessed, and aligned in holding safe and sacred space, while guiding and empowering others to explore their spiritual path as they discover their fullest potential and confidently step into their power. She believes that sharing the healing magic of Reiki energy medicine as well as delivering messages from the other side to our own is part of her soul’s highest purpose in this lifetime.

Emme gains great bliss but also deep fulfillment and spiritual growth to act as a mirror, witnessing others heal as they reawaken, remember, and embody their highest and most authentic selves. Becoming your most embodied and authentic self is a lives-long journey. It starts with remembering who you truly are.

Ashley

Ashley is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, Holy Fire II Reiki practitioner, and photographer based in the White Mountains. With a deep passion for mindfulness, spiritual growth, and visual storytelling, Ashley hopes to inspire and empower you to overcome your limitations and co-create a more beautiful world.

Ashley loves to integrate breath work, meditation, and movement to create a holistic experience that nourishes the mind, body, and spirit. Within her classes, she hopes you will discover the power of healing and the potential for growth within yourself. As a Reiki practitioner, she also offers gentle touch and energy healing sessions to promote relaxation and inner peace, always encouraging you to live your most fulfilling life.

Through her photography, Ashley captures the beauty and essence of her subjects in a candid and creative way. Whether you're looking to deepen your yoga practice, receive energy healing, or capture the magic of a special moment, Ashley is here to support you on your journey.

Arielle

ELECTRO⚡️CUTE (she/they) started DJing and dabbling in production at the young age of 19 and has spent the past 13 years training as an attorney and slowly rising through the music ranks, starting in the underground rave scene in NYC and expanding to the ecstatic dance community and well-known US clubs including Flash and Twelve After Twelve in DC and Le Poisson Rouge and the DL in NYC.

ELECTRO⚡️CUTE is a conscious event-focused DJ known for sampling global music mixed with organic, driving, and funky electronic beats as an homage to her multicultural background which includes Persian, German, Afghani, Mediterranean, Indian, and Egyptian. You can expect to hear many of these cultural influences throughout her sets as she takes you on an ethereal musical journey all over the globe through many eras and genres with unexpected twists and turns along the way that will have you both twirling and twerking on the dance floor. She believes music is a healing and uniting force for the collective good and intends to spark playful joy on the dance floor as a direct rebellion against the heaviness of the world.

ELECTRO⚡️CUTE is the resident DJ and founder of Ecstatic Dance Arlington and hosts conscious dance and meditation events in the DC area with her project lovingly titled Soul Fire Experiences, as a nod to their passion for the conscious community with the intention to ignite and uplift the community’s creative passions. She recently co-founded Soul Flow, a conscious nightlife experience incorporating wellness and raising  awareness and donations for social justice causes, blending her passions: social justice, music, community healing, and nightlife.
